Essential feature, essential theme
A crude and depressing theme is tempered by simple animation and an essential line, which in the story within the story is embellished with ornamental embroidery close to the art of Michel Ocelot. What benefits it is the sense of urgency, the universal call to a human solidarity that seems irremediably lost but which even in desperation is never completely won. A similar plot was developed in Osama (Siddiq Barmak, 2003).
