Three lives that will be changed by the repeated lies of someone who prefers to seek a difficult career in painting rather than subordinate jobs. This is the extreme synthesis of a film that is quite well cared for in the script and in the development of the story (we will never see this man's paintings, and in fact it is not these that make the difference). The two female parts are easier, the part assigned to someone who, starting almost immediately in the film, can do nothing but invent something is more difficult: she does well, though. Except that a tragic unexpected event will call everything into question, making the betrayal emerge in an even more striking way: a twist that contributes to a positive opinion on the film, which in itself (as the title suggests) is the story of a failure . No moralism, the real truth will be something else. On the other hand, life is often just like that.
