Review of  Francesca Francesca
I don't know about you, but for me TV series are divided into before and after Lost, yes because the passengers of Oceanic Airlines flight 815 changed forever what I expect from a TV series. Let's face it: "Lost" raised the raising the bar by eliminating everything that was there before and laying the foundations and stimuli to create series of ever better quality, which today almost bear comparison with great cinema. Jack, Sawyer, Kate, Desmond (my favourite), Hugo, Ben and the others: characters who develop episode after episode between fragments of the past, epic metaphors, moral punishments and mysteries that unfold throughout the story, literally keeping us glued to the screen! The question was: will the writers be able to answer all the questions open almost compulsively season after season? My very personal answer is: yes! The final metaphor on the fratricidal story between Jacob and the black smoke gives a completely spiritual epilogue that closes the series, making all the protagonists ascend to "heaven". Maybe it's a mental journey of mine? Probably, but that's how "Lost" leaves you suspended in a mix of fantasy, supernatural, religion and harsh reality that leads us to entrust each character with a very personal destiny! It's a shame that the protagonist above all Matthew Fox (Jack Shepard) didn't have a rosy "after Lost" and has almost disappeared, while the others, more or less, return between TV series and, the luckiest, big screen, always carrying with them the more or less uncomfortable legacy of those who will always remain partly stuck inside a passenger on flight 815!
