Covid told in a DocuFilm of  Cinema Blogger Cinema Blogger
From Articoli Stampa Cinematografica: “This DocuFilm, written by the esteemed (and award-winning) couple Ruben Maria Soriquez (director) and Luca Redavid, traces the origins of the Pandemic, through a journey of a Filipino family from Italy to Asia, return during the lockdown and the restrictions. Alongside the images of deserted cities and people singing on the balconies in the throes of Talent Show euphoria, medical-scientific narrations by virologists alternate, hypotheses, data, doubts, uncertainty about the future: the documentary tells the Virus for what it is: a huge meteorite that suddenly rained down on the heads of the inhabitants of our world, to which everyone wants to give an explanation but no one has any certainties. A Documentary that represents a Document, a trace to be preserved, a Visual Memory of one of the planetary events that will remain in the history books even in a hundred years. “ Read all

Interesting documentary on the pandemic of the century, Covid. The story is a mix between a family's journey during the lockdown, between airports and deserted cities, and scientific data narrated by a deliberately non-human voice and interviews with various personalities linked in various capacities to the virus. Among the people interviewed, the most famous virologist in Italy, present continuously for 2 years every evening on TV, Dr. Pregliasco, and also a former Tronist of Maria De Filippi's show, Leonardo Greco, who was one of the first "young people" to fall seriously ill and who was filmed 24 hours a day on social media, given his popularity, was admitted to hospital. The Docufilm Pandemiocracy, as can be seen from the poster, has won a lot of awards at international festivals, perhaps because it represents a memory historical fact that we will all remember for the rest of our lives. Pandemiocracy is worth seeing, both for the so-called anti-vaxers or conspiracy theorists, and for people who strongly believe in vaccines. It is recommended to watch it together with a large group of people, and then support a debate/comparison at the end of the film. The couple of international independent film authors Ruben Maria Soriquez (who also directed) and Luca Redavid are always a guarantee. Rating 8 Read all
Nice brave documentary of  Goran Basti Goran Basti
A well-packaged documentary with a rather controversial message but well supported by scientific contributions and reliable statistics. I agree with the conclusions that this work draws: the lockdowns have not served to stop the virus, much less to save lives. Indeed, they have contributed to increasing the desperation of the people, the deaths due to other diseases that are no longer treated and the economic disaster. The cure was worse than the disease. We see it today with vaccines that are not stopping infections at all. This documentary opens the eyes of those who want to open the eyes, of those who refuse to believe the lies of the ruling class. I'm happy to know that there are works like this, enjoyable on mainstream streaming channels that speak with courage and truth. This does not take away the fact that it is essential not to underestimate the virus, but to prepare to fight it, as the documentary states, by training your immune defenses. The parallelism of Covid which leaves no breathing room with George Floyd who is killed and prevented from breathing is quite shocking but also a symbol of a terrible 2020, which also took away freedom and basic human rights from people all over the world. The truth always comes out...sooner or later. of  Ugo Messina Ugo Messina
As a concerned citizen, as there are millions in Italy like me, I watched this documentary with great interest. It is now well established that the governments' response to the health emergency of 2020 and 2021 was exaggerated and harmful. It was then, let alone now that the virus has become more docile but the measures to contain it have become even more restrictive, now that the deaths are actually a fifth of what they were before and are mostly elderly people already in precarious health conditions. Pregliasco says it in this docu: "it will become like one of the many flu viruses we suffer every year in winter". Why is this "Virostar" causing alarmism on TV now? Sgarbi is right....less spotlights and more laboratory! Anthony Fauci peremptorily denied the artificial origin of the virus while Nobel Prize winner Luc Montaigner was mocked for his theses, which today Fauci also takes seriously into consideration: the virus probably had originated in the Wuhan laboratory (where the research was financed, guess who...). The film depicts unfortunately horrifying current scenarios where personal freedom is truly reduced as are human rights. And this not only in developing countries with totalitarian governments but also in the so-called "first world". But do you believe that Italy is truly a free country? Anyway, congratulations to director Soriquez and co-author Redavid for this work. The only flaw is the narrative voice. Those with trained ears understand me. We need a second documentary on vaccines... Read all

I've watched it on Plex. A very interesting documentary that gives very good advices on how to prepare yourself to cope up with pandemics. Good interviews with very good scientists like the Italian virologist Pregliasco. I've discovered this film thanks to Filmamo. Thank you guys! Read all
